Cat.7 S/FTP LSZH network cable with Cat.6A connectors supports a bandwidth of up to 600 MHz and features a snagless design with gold-plated contacts for Ethernet standards up to 10 GBase-T.

The material of the Cat.7 cable operates at frequencies of up to 600 MHz with full braided shielding and foil individual shielding (S/FTP), designed for use in data centers, server rooms, and rack-mounted network and control cabinets for networks up to 10GBaseT. These cables are manufactured and tested according to the ISO/IEC 11801 specification and are individually packaged in a polybag.

The gold-plated contacts ensure reliable, corrosion-free connections over extended periods. A robust snagless strain relief design prevents damage to the connector during installation and removal.

This product uses Cat.7 cable material. The Cat.7 standard originally defined the GG45 connectors, which were intended as an evolution of the RJ45, but did not gain traction in the market. Meanwhile, the RJ45 connector has evolved to meet the requirements of Cat.7, although it was never officially defined for Cat.7. Therefore, the cable states: "Cat.6A S/FTP patch cable with 600MHz raw cable.".

Patch cable type

The cable type, describes the structure of a network cable. Fiber optic cables are suitable for distribution over longer distances (up to 80 km) and are resistant to interference. Copper cables can be used for distances up to 100 m and are cheaper to purchase.

Contact assignment

The contact assignment provides information on how the network cable can be used. An uncrossed cable can be used to connect terminals to the network, while a crossed cable can be used to connect two terminals.
