The T-Deck Pro combines a compact QWERTY keyboard, a 3.1-inch E-Paper touchscreen display, and extensive wireless connectivity in a mobile platform for IoT projects. At its core is the ESP32-S3 microcontroller with two LX7 cores, 16 MB of Flash, and 8 MB of PSRAM, offering both 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 4 and Bluetooth 5 LE. For long-range communication, it features an integrated SX1262 LoRa module that supports the EU frequency band of 868 MHz and can operate via the built-in antenna or an external whip antenna. The 4G model utilizes the A7682E LTE modem chip, which manages not only data but also audio functions through the integrated speaker and microphone. The 3.1-inch E-Paper display with a resolution of 320 × 240 pixels is touch-operated and provides fast refresh modes for both static and dynamic content. A u-blox GPS module, in conjunction with the 4G connection, ensures precise location tracking. Additional features include a 3.5 mm audio jack, an SD card slot, a Qwiic connector for sensor expansions, as well as reset and boot buttons. A Bosch BHI260AP sensor and a light sensor provide motion and environmental data, while a vibration motor offers haptic feedback. Power is supplied via a USB-C port with integrated charging electronics for the built-in 1,400 mAh battery. With these features, the board is suitable for off-grid communication, remote sensing, and mobile development projects.
