Wirewin® Category 6A patch cables meet the specifications according to ISO/IEC 11801 Ed.2, enabling data transmission of up to 10 GBit/s. The Category 6A is specified with a frequency of 500 MHz. The cables for these patch cords are double-shielded. Each pair is enclosed in its own foil shielding, which is further covered by a braided shield. This construction is commonly referred to as PIMF (Pairs in Metal Foil) or S/FTP. The jacket of these cables is made from halogen-free material, making them flame-resistant. Yellow Category 6A RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts are encased in a special Wirewin® strain relief sleeve to protect the connector while allowing easy pressing of the latch.
