LAPP Helix charging cable Type 2 connects the electric vehicle to the charging station, charging column, or wall box – for easy charging at home or on the go. The cable's coupling is simply connected to the car, and the plug is connected to the power source. The charging process starts and ends automatically through the onboard electronics. LAPP charging cables are suitable for plug-in hybrid PHEVs and battery electric vehicles BEVs.

The patented self-retracting cable coils up in a spiral shape after use, thanks to its memory shape, allowing for quick storage without tangling. The Type 2 charging cable from LAPP enables easy and fast charging of up to 11 kW at a public or private charging station or wall box.

High compatibility: In addition to 3-phase charging, the cable also supports 1-phase charging at 3.7 kW. Highly robust, drive-over safe cables and plugs with silver-plated contacts ensure exceptional durability. The oil-resistant and longitudinally waterproof EV charging cable offers high moisture protection according to protection class IP55 and has an operating temperature range of -40 °C to 50 °C.

The electric car charging cable can be stored compactly and is easy to handle due to its lightweight. Mode 3 charging cables are manufactured according to current IEC and EN standards, compatible with European vehicles and charging stations, as well as with CCS Combo 2 connectors.
