LAPP Standard charging cables Type 2 connect electric vehicles to charging stations, charging pillars, or wall boxes – for hassle-free charging at home or on the go. The cable's coupling is easily connected to the car, and the plug is connected to the power source. The charging process starts and ends automatically through the onboard electronics. LAPP charging cables are suitable for plug-in hybrids (PHEV) and battery electric vehicles (BEV).

The LAPP Type 2 charging cable enables easy and fast charging of up to 22 kW at a public or private charging station or wall box. Thanks to its three-phase cable design, the cable charges particularly quickly and also supports three-phase charging at 11 kW as well as single-phase charging at 7.4 kW and 3.7 kW. Highly robust, drive-over safe cables and plugs with silver-plated contacts ensure exceptional durability.

The protective cap on the vehicle-side coupling prevents dust, dirt, and water from entering between charging sessions. The oil-resistant and longitudinally waterproof EV charging cable offers high moisture protection according to IP55 and has an operating temperature range of -40 °C to 50 °C. The electric vehicle charging cable is compact for storage and easy to handle due to its lightweight. It is a Mode 3 charging cable, manufactured according to valid IEC and EN standards, compatible with European vehicles and charging stations, as well as with CCS Combo 2 connectors.
