License Model
A valid license is required for the operation of a LANCOM R&S Unified Firewall or LANCOM vFirewall. With the flexible licensing model, you can choose between your desired feature set (Basic or Full) and the available license durations of 1, 3, or 5 years.

Basic License
Let a high-performance security appliance handle your internal network segmentation. Through user-based rules and rights, professional user authentication, and not least the "easy-to-use" design of our interface, you can ensure compliance with your individual rule set in your various security zones. The license activates firewall functions and provides firmware updates.

Full License
Regain control over your network with the additional, complete UTM and VPN features. You can easily manage corporate policies, load, security, and traffic with our various filtering and scanning options, such as content filtering including BPjM youth protection filter and app filtering, the sophisticated IDS/IPS system, or our anti-virus, anti-spam, anti-malware functions, and proactive security against unknown threats through integrated sandboxing and machine learning.
