Kurth KE7000 UTP/STP Cable Tester

The KE7000 is a cost-effective testing device for patch, LAN, and telecommunications cabling, and with an optional adapter, it can also test coaxial cables. It can test and verify unshielded and shielded connection cables with twisted pairs (UTP and STP cables) in installed networks as well as patch cables. Coaxial cables with BNC and F connectors can be tested for continuity using the RJ45 coax adapter. One device is automatically configured as the master and the other as the slave. The advantage of using two main devices is that the status of the tests can be read from both sides, saving time. With a battery life of up to 100 hours, the testing process rarely needs to be interrupted. Errors such as miswirings, interruptions, short circuits, and shielding faults are displayed on the devices' graphical screens, eliminating the need to awkwardly jot down blinking and illuminated LEDs. The KE7000 provides clear results from both sides.
