The new V Series combines the best of the latest technologies with what has made KRK monitors the industry standard in professional studios for the past 30 years. The KRK V8 is a two-way, full-range reference monitor with professional performance and absolute precision for recording, mixing, and mastering. It features a custom-designed 1" Kevlar tweeter and a lightweight, proprietary 8" Kevlar woofer. By using Kevlar for both the woofer and the tweeter, the monitors deliver silky highs, precise lows, and extremely dynamic and defined mid-range reproduction without any coloration. Additionally, the monitors have a wide sweet spot and impressive spatial imaging. The proprietary 230-watt Class-D amplifier allows for rapid transient response and up to 118 dB SPL. The cabinet with a front-facing bass reflex port prevents bass buildup when placed near walls, ensuring flexibility in placement. The V Series 4 offers a total of 14 user-selectable equalizer presets, providing 49 adjustment options to ensure perfect room integration, compensate for acoustically suboptimal placements, and adapt to individual preferences, as well as personal style or taste.
