Koolance Quick release

The QD series of quick disconnects from Koolance allows for a very simple and practical way to interrupt the coolant circuit by simply pressing down on a metal ring. This is especially necessary in situations where hoses or water cooling components need to be frequently disconnected from the rest of the cooling system.

For example, consider an external radiator that you want to quickly and securely detach from your PC during transport to carry it separately. Or a water cooling component that you change often, whether out of curiosity (CPU or chipset cooler) or for regular upgrades (VGA cooler).

Two QD3 quick disconnects made of black-painted brass are connected or separated (one male, one female), with Koolance developing valves that, as the name No-Spill suggests, are designed to ensure a certain degree of leak resistance. However, it should be noted that a hundred percent immediate sealing is not possible, and up to 0.2 ml of liquid may escape.

This quick disconnect features a black straight female version with a hose connection via a compression fitting, with an inner diameter of 10 mm and an outer diameter of 13 mm.
