The S3100 can be connected directly to a PC via USB 3.0 (3.1 Gen. 1) and used as a standalone device. Alternatively, you can integrate it into your local network via LAN for shared use. It scans double-sided at speeds of up to 100 sheets per minute with a recommended daily volume of 4,500 sheets. It features a larger, easily readable 3.5-inch touch display. Customizable names and color symbols allow for quick and easy selection of scanning tasks.

Scanners in the S3100 series are not picky about the media they process: whether standard A4 pages, extra-long banners up to 4 meters in length, ultra-thin 27 g/m² paper, or 1.4 mm thick ID cards - even small, unsorted stacks are no problem thanks to active feed technology with controlled stacking. Intelligent document protection and multi-feed sensor technology prevent paper jams and protect original documents. The image processing with Perfect Page technology dynamically optimizes image quality with every scan.
