The RamCAT6A cable RC6A-SB1X for mobile data transmission is designed for a frequency of 500 MHz, making it suitable for data transfer rates of up to 10 Gbit/s over link lengths of up to 100 meters. It is primarily used for data transmission in Ethernet applications 1000Base-T and 10GBase-T on cable drums. The robust data line, with a characteristic impedance of 100 Ohms, features four twisted pairs with AWG 23/1 solid conductors, thus making it the 'big brother' of our best-seller and 'universal cable' RC5-SB1X. The coordinated pair lengths and the sophisticated overall twisting using a PE twisting element ensure extremely low NEXT (near-end crosstalk) and FEXT (far-end crosstalk) values. Thanks to the cross-shaped PE twisting element, the stabilizing intermediate layer, and the abrasion-resistant PUR outer jacket, the cable is suitable for mobile road use (Touring Grade). A double shielding (SF/UTP) effectively protects against electromagnetic interference. We recommend the Neutrik etherCON CAT6A RJ45 connectors as a suitable termination. The RamCAT6A cable is available in both bulk lengths and as premade cables with and without cable drums.
