The RamCAT6A cable RC6A-SB1X for data transmission in mobile operations is designed for a frequency of 500 MHz, making it suitable for data transfer rates of up to 10 Gbit/s over a link length of up to 100 meters. It is primarily used for Ethernet applications like 1000Base-T and 10GBase-T on cable drums. This robust data line has a characteristic impedance of 100 Ohms and features four twisted pairs with AWG 23/1 solid conductors, thus serving as the 'big brother' to our best-selling and 'universal cable' RC5-SB1X. The coordinated twist lengths of the individual pairs and the sophisticated overall twisting using a PE stranding element ensure extremely low NEXT (Near-End Crosstalk) and FEXT (Far-End Crosstalk) values. Thanks to the cross-shaped PE stranding element, the stabilizing intermediate layer, and the abrasion-resistant PUR outer jacket, the cable is suitable for mobile road use (Touring Grade). A double shielding (SF/UTP) reliably keeps electromagnetic interference at bay. For a matching connector, we recommend the Neutrik etherCON CAT6A RJ45 plugs. The RamCAT6A cable is available both as bulk cable and as premade cable, with or without a cable drum.
