In February 2017, the AVn-48n Gen.2 was introduced, featuring higher coils and longer magnets. Compared to the old AVn-48n, it sounds significantly more powerful and open. It is also characterized by increased dynamics. The modification has made it louder and slightly brighter in tone. Additionally, it has been equipped with a new chrome-plated nickel-silver cover that does not dampen the sound. It is slightly curved to accommodate the staggered magnets accordingly. Furthermore, it produces no unwanted noise when touched.
