Keychron Q8 Knob Version

The Keychron Q8 is a high-quality mechanical keyboard in a 65% Alice layout. With its CNC-machined aluminum case, double-gasket design, QMK/VIA support, and knob option, the Q8 meets all practical requirements and offers a premium typing experience. The Alice layout is considered ergonomic as it encourages users to position their hands and wrists in a way that reduces muscle strain.

All components are designed for easy assembly, allowing you to customize and swap out any part as desired. A low-power Arm Cortex-M4 32-bit STM32L432 MCU, which is powerful and equipped with 128K Flash, provides greater flexibility for developers.

The Keychron Q8 features a CNC-machined 6063 aluminum case that goes through 24 processes, including polishing, anodizing, and sandblasting. The gasket-mounted design gives the board a pleasant, flexible typing feel with excellent sound.

The keyboard has a system switch on the side for the operating system and an additional set of custom keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems.

Thanks to full QMK and VIA support, you can easily program and remap every key on the keyboard. With the open-source firmware VIA, you can define any key, the keyboard layout, or the backlighting. It is even possible to write macros for custom key combinations. VIA supports macOS, Windows, and Linux.

The south-facing RGB SMD LED lighting is easy to see as it faces the user. The Gateron G Pro switches come pre-lubed and provide an excellent typing feel, complemented by the Dye-Sub ABS keycaps in the OSA profile.
