Normale und dünne Brotscheiben stehen schräg im breiten Toastschlitz. Das Ergebnis: Mal werden Kanten und Ecken verbrannt, mal ist eine starke Abstufung der Bräunung zu sehen, mal wird nur eine Seite gebräunt. An der Unterkante und an den Rändern wird kaum eine Bräunung erreicht.
