Notes: Charging lithium-ion batteries requires a special charger that charges the batteries according to a specific charging method (CCCV = constant current, constant voltage). The batteries must not be charged above a voltage of 4.2 volts, as this poses a risk of fire and explosion. It is beneficial to charge the batteries only up to about 4.1 volts, as this significantly increases the lifespan or number of charge cycles (potentially doubling it). Only lithium-ion chargers should be used for charging. Cheap chargers have the disadvantage of not safely shutting off after the charging process is complete, continuing to charge the batteries with a small current, which can be dangerous.
