3S PCB/PCM - Keeppower XZD-3S1550 (Protection Electronics) BMS Battery Management System - PCB protection circuit for three Li-Ion battery cells (Made in Japan). A Battery Management System (BMS) is an electronic circuit designed to monitor and control a rechargeable battery system. The need for a BMS arises when multiple battery cells are connected to form a battery. The BMS is intended to detect, monitor, and regulate the inevitable manufacturing variances of various parameters of the battery cells, such as capacity and leakage currents. Electronics are not suitable for tools or power tools.
Application: Li-Ion battery packs. Note: After soldering, the protection circuit in the battery pack must be activated, which is done by a brief charging through the electronics.

P- = Charging, Discharging/Input/Output Minus
