The thermometer features a stainless steel housing with a diameter of 80 mm. The measuring system operates on the principle of a bimetallic spiral, which directly affects the pointer via an axis. The temperature can be read on an aluminum scale with black lettering, protected by a glass cover. The housing has an IP54 protection rating and can be used in ambient temperatures ranging from -30 to 80 °C, with the nominal position being arbitrary. The device is mounted using a stainless steel screw connection, which can be adjusted along the stainless steel immersion tube with a diameter of 6 mm. The screw thread of the connection is G 1/2 Form A according to DIN 3852/2. The immersion tube outlet is axially directed to the rear on the back of the housing. Since no additional auxiliary power is required, the device is optimally suited for energy-efficient temperature measurement. Furthermore, it is insensitive to ambient temperature influences.
