The thermometer features a housing made of galvanized steel sheet with a diameter of 63 mm. The measurement system operates on the principle of a bimetallic spiral, which directly affects the pointer via an axis. The temperature can be read on an aluminum scale with black lettering, protected by a glass cover. The housing has an IP51 protection rating and can be used in ambient temperatures ranging from -30 to 80 °C, with the nominal position being arbitrary. The device is mounted using a brass protection tube with a diameter of 12 mm and a G 1/2 Form A thread according to DIN 3852/2. The immersion tube outlet is axially directed backward on the rear side of the housing. Since no additional auxiliary power is required, the device is ideally suited for energy-efficient temperature measurement. Furthermore, it is insensitive to influences from ambient temperature. The device is universally applicable and suitable for local temperature measurement.
