The thermometer features a steel sheet housing, galvanized, with a diameter of 100 mm. The measuring system operates on the principle of a bimetallic spiral, which directly affects the pointer via an axis. The temperature can be read on an aluminum scale with black lettering, protected by a glass cover. The housing has an IP51 protection rating and can be used in ambient temperatures ranging from -30 to 80 °C, with the nominal position being arbitrary. The device is mounted using a steel protective tube with a diameter of 10 mm and a G 1/2 Form A thread according to DIN 3852/2. The immersion tube outlet is radially downward on the back of the housing. Since no additional auxiliary power is required, the device is optimally suited for energy-saving temperature measurement. Furthermore, it is insensitive to ambient temperature influences. The device is universally applicable and suitable for local temperature measurement.
