19" IPC 2U-2404S

The IPC 2U-2404S is the perfect rack for a small and cost-effective storage system. With its excellent material quality combined with outstanding workmanship, Inter-Tech has laid the foundation for an extremely versatile case.

The IPC 2U-2404S allows for the installation of up to four 2.5" or 3.5" hot-swap hard drives, as well as one internal 2.5" or 3.5" hard drive (with a 2.5" hard drive of only 9.5 mm height, a 3.5" HDD can be installed simultaneously). The IPC 2U-2404S is equipped with three built-in 40 mm fans. An ATX power supply with an 80 mm fan can be installed at the back.

For using the backplanes in this product, we recommend controllers from manufacturers Avago (formerly LSI) and Areca.

Please note: The included backplanes are only suitable for operation with a SAS controller with an SFF-8087 connection. For operation with a SATA controller, please order the optional crossed SFF8087 to 4x SATA cables in the appropriate quantity.

Note: When using this product in conjunction with Intel onboard SATA controllers, the controller must be set to RAID mode or the controller's ports must be explicitly set to hotplug/external port. If these settings are not available, error-free operation may only be possible with an additional SATA controller.
