Kuplat pendant lamp. Shimmering like a soap bubble: Yki Nummi has designed a translucent plastic shade for the Finnish brand Innolux, featuring a captivating shimmer in the light. While the outer lampshade varies in clear to softly tinted transparency, the inner, always white acrylic reflector serves to eliminate any potential glare. Additionally, it cleverly conceals the direct view of the light bulb that fits into the E27 socket. Furthermore, it reflects and enhances the light intensity. A particularly beautiful detail is the color-contrasting housing of the lamp socket. Innolux offers this formidable soap bubble, the Kuplat pendant lamp, in two sizes, with the larger one being a variation of the original design from 1959.
