This adapter converts the USB port to RS-232. It allows the connection of devices such as modems, ISDN systems, or PDAs to the USB port without occupying the serial interface. It comes with a driver and instructions. Compatible with USB 1.1, it features very easy installation and supports over 500 KBit/s data transfer. It does not require an interrupt. The adapter has a USB Type A plug to a 9-pin Sub D connector, with a length of approximately 1.8 m. It includes an adapter from a 9-pin socket to a 25-pin plug. Drivers are available for Server 2003, Server 2008, Server 2008 R2, Server 2012, Windows 2000 SP4, XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 (32/64 Bit). Chipset: PL-2303RA.
