HDMI is the latest standard in home cinema, multimedia, and PC entertainment. This interface transmits both video and audio data digitally. Additionally, HDMI is compatible with DVI, allowing for the direct connection of DVD players to TFT screens (video signals only). HDMI is a very fast interface with speeds of up to 5 Gb/s.
