This audio headset adapter cable enables the connection of a conventional PC headset to the 4-pin audio output, as used in smartphones, mobile phones, and notebooks. The pin assignment of the adapter works with devices such as the Apple iPod Touch 2G, iPhone (3G, 3GS, 4, 4S, 5), MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, HTC smartphones (e.g., Legend), as well as some Lenovo notebooks (e.g., ThinkPad T510 series) or Dell Latitude notebooks.
