High-end and HiFi systems are a combination of highly precise and delicate devices. When optimally coordinated, they are capable of reproducing music in outstanding quality. However, for the components to function flawlessly, they must be kept as free from interference as high-precision measuring instruments. The same applies to the connection cables. Interference can arise in various ways. In addition to typical electromagnetic disturbances, which can be minimized through good shielding, mechanical vibrations and shocks also affect playback quality. The Reference Cable Bases have been specifically designed for cables. They feature a special gel in their base and additional rubber bands, allowing the cables to be suspended freely. Besides absorbing vibrations, the Reference Cable Bases also keep the cables elevated from the ground. This reduces unwanted capacitance and relieves the electronics.
