iBasso DX260 MK2

The iBasso DX260 MK2 sets the standard for portable high-end audio players. At the heart of the player is an octa-DAC matrix with eight Cirrus Logic CS43198 chips, which together achieve outstanding fidelity and dynamics of up to 134 dB. Supported by the specially developed FPGA Master 2.0 architecture with two extremely precise NDK femtosecond oscillators, the DX260 MK2 offers precise clock synchronisation, low-distortion signal processing and excellent sound purity. The hardware-based FIR filter technology enables particularly nuanced playback in FIR-2x and FIR-4x mode. The dual operating system combines Android 13 for modern streaming functionalities with the Linux-based Mango OS, which was specially developed for interference-free audio playback. The built-in Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 in combination with 4 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB internal memory ensures smooth performance and fast app utilisation. The 5-inch full HD touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels delivers a brilliant display, while USB 3.1, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0 and extensive analogue and digital outputs offer a wide range of connections. One feature is the optimised power supply: With an external power supply, the battery is completely bypassed to minimise heat development and wear. The audio reproduction impresses with a linear, transparent sound signature, exceptional attention to detail and outstanding channel separation. Even demanding headphones are driven precisely and confidently by the powerful output stage. Thanks to its high-quality workmanship and the well thought-out accessory package, which includes a TPU protective cover, a coaxial cable and a USB-C cable, the DX260 MK2 is also well protected in mobile use.
