At the heart of the player is an octa-DAC matrix featuring eight Cirrus Logic CS43198 chips, which together achieve outstanding sound fidelity and dynamics of up to 134 dB. Supported by a custom-developed FPGA Master 2.0 architecture with two highly precise NDK femtosecond oscillators, the DX260 MK2 ensures exact clock synchronization, low-distortion signal processing, and excellent sound purity. The hardware-based FIR filter technology allows for particularly nuanced playback in FIR-2x and FIR-4x modes. The dual operating system combines Android 13 for modern streaming functionalities with the Linux-based Mango OS, specifically designed for interference-free audio playback. The integrated Qualcomm Snapdragon 665, combined with 4 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, ensures smooth performance and quick app usage. The 5-inch full HD touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels delivers brilliant visuals, while USB 3.1, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, and extensive analog and digital outputs provide a wide range of connectivity options. One notable feature is the optimized power supply: when external power is supplied, the battery is completely bypassed to minimize heat generation and wear.
