With this adapter, you can connect your USB devices such as hubs, docking stations, video adapters, external enclosures for HDDs, etc., from both i-tec and other manufacturers to a notebook, tablet, PC, or smartphone equipped with the new USB Type-C connector. It features 1x USB 3.0 port for connecting your existing USB 3.1/3.0/2.0 devices and high-speed data transfer (5 Gbps). It can be used with the 2015 Apple MacBook, 2015 Chromebook Pixel, and other devices with USB 3.0 connectors. The new USB Type-C connector has many advantages - it is smaller and symmetrical, allowing for easy connection without worrying about the orientation of the connector.
