Product details
We are pleased to announce the return of the popular WR8 family, in the form of the classic 2001 WRC Subaru Impreza that won the Drivers' Championship 20 years ago! Any rally fan will recognize the famous blue and yellow livery as one of the most recognizable in the sport, and what better way to herald the return of HPI's popular rally platform than with a classic Subaru Impreza!
Under the officially licensed and famous Impreza body, the WR8 3.0 chassis is based on the HPI Bullet RC monster truck. This means it's very tough and can take a beating both on and off road! The WR8 3.0 is powered by an easy-to-use and powerful all-aluminum Nitro Star G3.0 HO engine with a maximum speed of 32,000 rpm that delivers its power through the same rugged bevel gear differential and full ball bearing 4WD shaft drive of the Bullet monster truck. With authentic rally suspension geometry, oil-filled shocks and extra-thick anti-roll bars, you'll have fabulous control on gravel or asphalt! Add to that high-spec soft compound tires and authentic rally wheels and you've got a real head-turner on your hands!
The HPI Racing WR8 3.0 is packed with features that increase its toughness no matter where you want to take it, like high ground clearance, a skidplate, a foam front bumper, optimized rally-style suspension geometry, shock covers, mud deflectors on the chassis and much more. It's the ideal machine to race against your friends on RC rally-style courses and multi-surface tracks, or wherever you want!
Like all HPI Racing RTR (Ready-To-Run) cars, the WR8 3.0 is fully pre-assembled: all you need to do is add transmitter and receiver batteries and nitro fuel, and you're ready to roll!
