Its distributed rack-based design utilizes a primary/satellite architecture to consolidate network connections in the data center, reduce hardware, and scale network bandwidth across multiple HPE Synergy frames. The primary module includes intelligent networking features to extend connections to satellite frames via interconnect connection modules. This reduces the need for top-of-rack switches and significantly lowers costs.
