Do you need a reliable base power supply in a flexible form factor that you can place where it's needed in the rack? The HPE G2 Basic Power Distribution Units feature simple 0U and 1U installation options, allowing you to configure the power supply according to your rack's requirements. The HPE G2 Basic PDUs offer a single-piece low-profile design for easy access to devices at the back for maintenance purposes. Vertical PDUs can be installed on both sides of the rack, with the outlets facing the back to enable easy access and maintenance. For higher density configurations, the PDUs can be installed side by side on both sides of the rack, with the outlets facing inward. Horizontal/modular PDUs provide a modular architecture specifically designed for customers with data centers looking to optimize power distribution and space utilization. The control unit or central unit can be mounted in any 1U or 0U position on the side of the HPE racks between the RETMA rails. The extension bars are mounted directly to the frame, allowing you to configure the power supply as needed.
