Product details

The extensively tested HP LTO Ultrium data cartridges meet all requirements and are characterized by high reliability in data recovery, high storage density, easy manageability, and expandable storage and backup performance. LTO Ultrium includes five storage generations – LTO-1 (200 GB), LTO-2 (400 GB), LTO-3 (800 GB), LTO-4 (1.6 TB), and LTO-5 (3 TB). With transfer speeds of up to 1 TB/h, LTO-5 serves as a platform for all needs and budgets. Starting from LTO-3, LTO Ultrium WORM data cartridges allow for the creation of compatible, permanent, and tamper-proof archives. From LTO-4 onwards, secure AES-256 encryption provides an even higher level of data security and compliance with the strictest industry regulations to prevent unauthorized data access. Beginning with LTO-5, using tape drives is as simple, flexible, mobile, and intuitive as other removable and shared storage media, thanks to the LTO Ultrium Linear Tape File System.
