HP Trusted Platform Module accessory enhances the protection of encrypted credentials and data stored on the printer or MFP by automatically and securely storing keys for device encryption in the TPM. It enables a secure device identity through private certificate keys and protection by the TPM.
The HP Trusted Platform Module accessory has been developed according to the TPM 1.2 standard of the Trusted Computing Group (TCG). The TPM automatically connects to the printer or MFP upon installation.
The HP Trusted Platform Module accessory is installed by the customer. Minimal technical knowledge is required.
