HP Smart Tank Wireless 455 is a multifunction printer that offers color inkjet printing with a refillable ink system. It supports original media sizes of 216 x 297 mm and A4/Legal formats. The printer can copy at speeds of up to 6.5 pages per minute and print at speeds of up to 8 pages per minute. It has a capacity of 60 sheets and connects via USB 2.0 and Wi-Fi.

Some HP printers are designed to work only with print cartridges that have new or reused HP chips or electronic circuitry. These printers utilize dynamic security measures to block cartridges with non-HP chips or circuitry. Regular firmware updates are implemented to maintain the effectiveness of these security measures and may block cartridges that previously functioned. HP reused chips and electronic circuitry allow for the use of reused, remanufactured, and refilled print cartridges.
