These printers use dynamic security measures to block cartridges with a non-HP chip or a non-HP electronic circuit. Regular firmware updates maintain the effectiveness of these measures and block cartridges that previously worked. Reused HP chips and electronic circuits from HP allow the use of reused, remanufactured, and refilled cartridges.

This is an HP+ capable printer. Select HP+ during product setup to take advantage of the benefits. HP+ requires an HP account, a continuous internet connection, and the exclusive use of original HP printer cartridges throughout the printer's lifespan.
