HP has developed the C6119A Bulk Ink Delivery System for high-volume applications that require high-quality results, low printing costs, and infrequent interventions in the ink supply. This system consists of a print cartridge and a waterproof black ink supply connected by a tube. It is designed to print at 600 dots per inch in applications where high-quality output on porous media is required. The non-contact, drop-based inkjet technology ensures reliable, quiet printing. The Integrated Printhead Technology (IDH) coordinates the individual nozzles through a multiplexing method that activates all 300 nozzles across 52 connection points. The print cartridge can be easily clipped in and out for replacement, while the high-capacity bulk ink delivery system makes these replacements less frequent. The print cartridge features a thermal resistor that measures temperature and enables thermal management as well as overheating protection for the printhead.
