The HD Mk II coatings are among the hardest, scratch-resistant, and dirt-repellent coatings offered by any manufacturer. The highly transparent polarizing film has 25% better light transmission than the standard polarizing film used in current photographic filters. With the HOYA HD Mk II CIR-PL filter, you can create unique effects in your photos that cannot be achieved with editing software in post-processing. One such effect is the control of light reflections on glass or water surfaces. In addition to its ultra-hard and smooth properties, the HD Mk II coating features excellent water and oil repellency, making filter maintenance simple and stress-free. The ultra-thin frame is compatible with wide-angle lenses.
