Product details

Hoya engineers have developed a new anti-static coating that acts like a force field around the filter to repel dust. Additionally, the hardened, anti-static top layer is water-repellent, stain and scratch-resistant, and easy to clean when stains or fingerprints get on the surface. With circular polarizing filters, photographers can achieve creative, in-camera effects that are no longer possible after the image is taken. A polarizing filter eliminates unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water or glass, as well as light that reflects moisture and pollutants in the atmosphere. By rotating the ultra-smooth filter, you can select the exact amount of filtration needed for the desired creative effect. The new professional anti-static filters from the "Fusion Antistatic" series are made in Japan from carefully selected silicates that are meticulously melted and mixed to create high-performance optical glass. Hoya then applies the utmost care and precision to coat the enhanced 18-layer Super Multi-Coating (on both sides) formula, which significantly reduces or eliminates reflections on the glass surface and achieves very high light transmission rates.
