Heltec Automation WIFI Kit8 Board ESP8266 32MBit

The WIFI Kit 8 is an original Heltec board. It features an ESP8266 microcontroller and an OLED display mounted on the board. The OLED is perfect for debugging or displaying measurement values. Additionally, the board has a LiPo connection with a charging regulator. Since the deep-sleep current is around 10 mA, it is only partially suitable for mobile use. This board does not skimp on flash memory, as it is equipped with a 32 MBit memory chip. The ESP8266 microcontroller is very powerful and also includes a WiFi radio module. The module is compatible with the Arduino IDE and can be programmed right away. With the ESP8266, you can easily connect your projects to the internet. The board is often used for Internet of Things (IoT) applications. For example, you can easily connect your data logger to the internet and log the data to a cloud. The WIFI Kit 8 has a micro-USB connection for programming and power supply. Since the ESP8266 is a pure 3.3V controller, all inputs and outputs must only be operated with 3.3V.

This board can be plugged into a half-size breadboard, and there is still enough space on both sides to connect Dupont cables.
