With Sentivus OFC loudspeaker cables you can be sure that the cables are made of 99.99% OFC copper, have very good conduction and transmission properties and have been processed in Germany according to high quality standards. The OFC copper conductors are convincing with a high flexibility and a low line resistance. The great advantages of pure OFC cables (oxygen-free copper) are their excellent electrical properties and low line resistance. Loudspeaker cables are often referred to as "pure" copper cables, although they only have a very thin copper coating. This mainly concerns what is known as "CCA copper" (aluminium core with a thin copper layer) or "CCS copper" (steel cable with a thin copper layer). These cables have much worse transmission properties than OFC cables.
