With Sentivus OFC speaker cables, you can be assured that the cables are made of 99.99% OFC copper, feature excellent conductivity and transmission properties, and are processed in Germany according to high quality standards. The OFC copper conductors offer high flexibility and low resistance. The significant advantages of pure OFC cables (oxygen-free copper) are their outstanding electrical properties and low resistance. Speaker cables are often referred to as "pure" copper cables, even though they only have a very thin copper coating. This mainly applies to what is known as "CCA copper" (aluminum core with a thin copper layer) or "CCS copper" (steel cable with a thin copper layer). These cables have far worse transmission properties than OFC cables.
