Hasselblad H System CF

With the CF lens adapter for the H-System, photographers can use all C lenses from Carl Zeiss's V-System on H cameras. Integrated processors for data conversion unite both systems and enable numerous display and lens control functions on H cameras. Features such as autofocus and continuous shooting are integral parts of the H-System and are therefore not available when using C lenses. Additionally, exposure measurement and control of aperture and shutter speed differ between the two systems, which also affects camera operation. Furthermore, there are some limitations when using specific lenses or combinations of lenses and converters.

The precision-crafted CF lens adapter weighs only 140 g and is mounted between the H camera body and the Zeiss lens. The autofocus system of the H camera can be used to display a confirmation signal in the viewfinder when manually focusing. Exposure measurement occurs at fully open aperture for all lenses, and the aperture and shutter speed of the manual exposure setting are displayed on the camera screen. Owners of CFE lenses benefit from an additional advantage, as the preset aperture value is automatically transmitted to the camera. The shutter is manually cocked for all lenses, and this process can be quickly performed via a conveniently located lever on the side of the adapter.
