Oil Band Skimmer RAPID for containers up to 6 m² surface area. Application: This device is used for fully automatic, time-controlled, and continuous maintenance of water-miscible cooling lubricants and degreasing baths, for example, on machining machines or chip conveyors. The service life of cooling lubricants and other process baths is significantly reduced by foreign contaminants, such as foreign oil and lack of oxygen. This makes them ideal breeding grounds for anaerobic bacteria, viruses, yeasts, and fungi. The resulting disadvantages are well known: cooling lubricants suffocate due to insufficient oxygen content, leading to odor formation, emulsion breakdown, skin irritations, allergies, and slime formation. Additionally, foreign oils and contaminants significantly impair manufacturing quality. If limits defined by legislation are exceeded, the medium must be changed and disposed of, which significantly increases operating costs. The patented skimming process allows for extended medium service life, thus saving considerable costs for disposing of the contaminated medium. During the calming phase, demulsifying foreign oils that float to the surface are removed using belts that have a high adhesion to oil. Design: compact stainless steel housing with double scraper, oil drain hose ¾, possible in two directions, with integrated timer, galvanized transport and weighting roller, device is supplied without a belt.
