Allows for large apertures, for example in portrait shots under extreme brightness: The background blur makes the photographed person stand out clearly from the foreground. Flowing water appears soft due to long exposure times. Creates an impressionistic image effect under strong darkening. Consumer note: To avoid vignetting, this filter has an overbuild of the front lens, meaning the diameter of the front lens is larger than that of the rear lens. Please note that a lens cap with a diameter of 52 mm is required.
