It transmits audio data formats including 8PCM, Dolby Digital, DTS, MPEG, DVD-Audio, SACD, Dolby Digital Plus, True HD, and dts-HD. It features network functionality through an integrated Internet/Ethernet channel (HEC) with a network speed of 100 MB/s, as well as an integrated audio return channel (ARC). The cable also supports the transmission of player feed type via Automatic Content Enhancement (ACE) and HDMI-CEC (Consumer Electronics Control).
