Haida ND Filter Set for 67 mm Filter Diameter with Carrying Case
A gray filter or neutral density filter (ND filter) allows for an extended exposure time. This makes people or vehicles in the image invisible, which can be useful when capturing architectural shots without any personnel. This way, anyone can take impressive architectural photos.
The gray filter reduces the amount of light entering through the lens, enabling the use of a larger aperture. This is necessary when the subject to be photographed should stand out against a blurred background or when a motion blur effect is desired through long exposure. For example, falling water can be photographed better, especially when the ambient light is too bright.
