Product details

Infrared filter IR720 for filter diameter 72mm. Infrared photography, also known as IR photography, takes place outside the visible spectrum for humans. The sensor in the camera "translates" the invisible image into a visible one. There are many variations of infrared photography, depending on the filter used. This specific infrared filter, also referred to as a black filter, is necessary to block visible light in order to create an infrared photo. An infrared filter opens up creative possibilities for you. The filter blocks visible light up to a certain spectral range of 720nm and allows long-wavelength radiation, which is invisible to the human eye, to pass through. This results in stunning images.

The advantages at a glance: multi-layer coating, black aluminum frame, black-edged glass, narrow and knurled filter mount, UV-protected filter boxes.

Tip for IR photography: Screw the filter onto the lens, set the camera to ISO 400, and take a shot of a green area. Use the shot for a manual white balance. Choose a longer exposure time for your shots and use a tripod.

Suitable for lenses with a filter diameter of 72mm.

Delivery includes: 1x Haida IR720 72mm, 1x storage box.
