With the new IP-controlled power sockets, the power consumption of the installation can be effectively reduced: the collective shutdown of devices, even in standby mode, as well as the integrated energy meters contribute to sustainable operation of the infrastructure. Furthermore, the operator receives alerts when fault currents occur. This enables preventive maintenance measures before any downtime occurs. The PDUs have 4, 8, or 12 load outputs (IEC C13 or protective contact) on the back. This allows connected devices to be turned off and on in case of a malfunction. This is also possible via media controls and DCIM solutions. Defined thresholds ensure that event-based switching processes can be initiated. Two integrated sensor connections for optionally available sensors allow for monitoring of ambient temperature, humidity, and air pressure. Thus, system-critical conditions are detected early. Thanks to hot-plug-capable sensors, commissioning with the Expert Power Control series is completed quickly.
