With the new IP-controlled sockets, the power consumption of the installation can be effectively reduced: the collective shutdown of consumers, even in standby mode, as well as the integrated energy meters support sustainable operation of the infrastructure. Additionally, operators receive alerts when fault currents occur, enabling preventive maintenance measures before any downtime happens. The PDUs have 4, 8, or 12 load outputs (IEC C13 or protective contact) on the back, allowing connected devices to be turned off and on in case of a fault. This is especially possible through media controls and DCIM solutions. Defined thresholds ensure that event-based switching operations can be initiated. Two integrated sensor connections for optionally available sensors allow for monitoring of ambient temperature, humidity, and air pressure, thus enabling early detection of critical system states. Thanks to hot-plug capable sensors, commissioning with the Expert Power Control series is completed quickly.
