Stemlite Table Lamp by Gubi
The Stemlite table lamp by Gubi brings the true vibrancy of the 1960s into any interior. The Stemlite collection was designed in 1962 by the legendary American designer Bill Curry and is inspired by nature: a streamlined base made of die-cast metal that resembles the sturdy yet delicate stem of a tulip, supporting a beautiful glass shade like a fragile bud waiting to bloom. The simple yet striking design language of the Stemlite lamps can be combined with all styles of decor, from classic to eclectic to experimental, making it ideal for both public and private spaces.
Designer Billy Curry - Stemlite Table Lamp
A long textile cable connects to the socket on the one-piece base. The switch is integrated into the cable of the non-dimmable lamp. The Stemlite table lamp has a diameter of 32 cm and is a true eye-catcher. The diameter of the feet is 18 cm. Compatible light bulbs with an E27 socket can be ordered as accessories. The elongated frame of this lamp also resembles plants with heavy flower heads. The contrast between the die-cast metal base and the mouth-blown glass spheres that make up the lampshade is remarkable.
